On this walk you’ll hear more about the female side of St. James’s – discover the stories of royals and scientists of merchants and mistresses.

The walk starts just outside Green Park station from where we will discover St. James's in the heart of Westminster. Our tour lasts roughly two hours and ends at Waterloo Place, which is only a few minutes away from the famous Trafalgar Square.
What do you think of when you hear City of London? Men in suits, financial institutions and insurance companies? After coming on this walk with Veronika you'll see this part of London in a new light.
You'll learn more about the women who are associated with the so-called Square Mile - from queens and stockbrokers to martyrs and ghosts. They are women, hear them roar!

We'll start at the City Information Centre opposite St James's and finish at Bank Station. The tour lasts around two hours.
The City of London for many is the financial centre of London. But it was once the centre of the written word. Come on this two hour walk with Veronika and hear more about the area's connection with words and writing.
Your journey takes you from Fleet Street, the former newspaper hub of London, to Paternoster Square, where stationery had its beginnings. You'll hear about the most famous diarist of the country, the greatest playwright of all time as well as Wynkyn de Worde and Rupert Murdoch.
Along the way you can also say hello to a cat named Hodge and you'll hear about a parrot named Polly.
